The Beat DXB Is Back For Its Second Edition

Oct 25,2018

'The Beat' is a visionary event series developed to support local and regional musicians by creating more opportunities for live performance. The event was founded by popular Saudi radio host and blogger Big Hass as an underground event in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) in 2013.  The Beat has now been marked with the DXB stamp and is all set to make its much-anticipated return next month on 9th November at the Fridge in Alserkal Avenue.

The Beat DXB was launched in March 2018 at Dubai's first independent record store The Flipside, a location that resonates well with the city's hunger for real and authentic music. As event organiser, Big Hass strives to showcase the city's best cultural hubs, The Fridge was an ideal choice for next months event.

The show will kick off with a set by Dj Sizer and the main lineup will include the fast-rising talent of Ghaliaa , popular Iraqi RnB singer Shebani and the chilling voice of Emirati-Honduran Fafa.

Other performers include Saudi rapper Molham and Sudanese visionary and lyricist 249TooDope. A special segment will be dedicated to regional rappers (Moh Flow, KC Hamada, TAC & KAFV) who will showcase their skills over beats provided by Drummer Colin. Saudi sensation Roya, who was part of the first edition of the Beat in Jeddah will be the opening act.

Doors open at 7 pm.
