The Tecom Group and Dubai Creative Clusters Authority (DCCA) have announced new visas for creatives in the region. Registration is currently open under two sectors: Media (Dubai Media City) and Education (Dubai Knowledge Park). Education applicants can only choose a single activity, but media applicants are eligible to choose upto three activities.
The areas of expertise also include new fields such as actor, artist, musician, music composer, critics: music, film, theatre and more. Freelance packages start at Dh 7500 per year and include a freelancer permit and access to the business centre. However, visa charges are not included and applicants must contact the DCCA for relevant visa info.
