Tania Khoury is a live artist who works out of London and Beirut. Her work includes interactive installations and performances in which the audience is an active collaborator.
Her latest project titled ‘Gardens Speak’ will be held at New York University Abu Dhabi from April 27 -30. This Interactive installation will take place with a capacity of 10 participants per 40min event.
Gardens speak will share oral histories of ten ordinary people who were buried in Syrian gardens. Each story has been reconstructed with friends and family of the deceased and pays homage to their lives. The installation will also include audio files that evidences their final moments.
Tania’s work has been shown in five continents in spaces ranging from museums to cable cars. She is the recipient of the Total Theatre Innovation Award and the Arches Brick Award.
