Featuring Galleries from across the Middle East and around the world, the Abu Dhabi Art Fair is all set to open on the 8th November.
The rapidly growing Art Fair, will feature work from 47 galleries and will attract a global community of creatives as well as local artists. New major galleries like the Sprüth Magers will exhibit in their first visit to the Middle East.
Unique works will be on display this year. One artist exhibiting is Nasser Al Salem, he has derived a machine that writes "yuheb" (to love) in sand and then rubs the message away. While Manal Al Dowayan has mapped the root system of the Date Palms at Al Ain Oasis. Through their roots, the trees are connected and co-operate together sending nutrients to trees in need. Perhaps, one-day humans will be able to follow suit.
Art Fairs across the world will have to pull their sock up to keep up with Abu Dhabi!
Visitors have a unique opportunity to see professional artworks together in one venue. With all the different galleries and artists brought together, the atmosphere and milieu will be buzzing.
The art fair will take place at MANARAT AL SAADIYAT on Saadiyat Island.
There are a number of venues involved and a lot of useful information can be found on the Art Fair website: https://www.abudhabiart.ae
